These brand guidelines were made in partnership with the Compassion’s internal Creative Team.
In addition to compiling new brand guidelines and overseeing various workstreams, I played a key role in developing Neighbour Sans (Compassion’s new custom brand typeface) alongside type designer Connary Fagen and lead the team in charge of selecting secondary and alternate brand fonts.
A colorful thread weaves its way throughout the graphic system. It serves to highlight the new global color palette and anchor the imagery in a unified way that feels human while still remaining structured.
A central element of Compassion’s new brand identity is the tapestry system. It captures stories of the children they serve and uses hand-drawn illustrations by children around the world as inspiration.
